Nicole’s mum, Aidie, rang to see if I could do Nicole’s make-up for her school prom. Aidie was concerned that the desired look of lots of heavy black eyeliner, would not suit the dress for the evening. Although it was short notice we did manage a trial and agreed on a smokey look that managed to avoid the black eyeliner!
So, when Paul and I arrived on the night, Nicole’s short dark funky hair was already in place with tiara and her skin was cleansed, toned and moisturised in preparation.

Holdsworth House
For those of you that aren’t familiar with West Yorkshire and in particular Halifax, Holdsworth House Hotel is a grand Jacobean Manor built in 1633 and is now run as a wonderful country hotel. This hotel is a magnificent location for anyone’s wedding and offers wonderful photographic opportunities. I love working here so much that here’s another view of this magnificent house…

Out of the blue I received a phone call from Christina wanting help. It turns out that after an unsuccessful hair trial with her original hairdresser all did not go well. In desperation Christina called in the hope that I could fit her in not only for a trial, but on her wedding day. With a little juggling we managed it – phew!
